Please...Just Give It a Try

Ok I’ve had several Android Smartphone’s and been using them for several years now. It’s seems with every upgrade I find myself using my PC less and less because I can do almost everything I want do on my phone plus some things I’m not able to do with my PC.
With that being said I’m beginning to wonder why everyone doesn’t have one. Let’s take my Father-in-Law for instance; he really enjoys using Facebook to keep in touch with family and friends. He also does a lot of e-mailing and loves to take photos. He carries one them small Kodak cameras with him everywhere he goes so he’ll have it just in case he wants to take a picture of someone or something. Now he could have all these options if only he would get an Android Smartphone but he still carrying around a flip style cell phone that over 5 years old. I’ve told him that if he’d try out a new Android I thought that he would really like it but he continues to tell me that he don’t want or need a fancy gadget like that. He said he’s content with have a phone only for calling and using his PC and Kodak camera the way he’s doing it now. He is also a U.S. Cellular customer and I’ve told him that he could try one of the new Android’s out for a couple of weeks and if he still didn’t like it he could return it with their 15 day return guarantee, but he still want give it a try.
Well I guess there are always going to be some that are content with doing things the way they’ve been doing thing and not give something new a try. But as for me I just “LOVE” my Android Smartphone and just can’t wait to see what the next future upgrade will do.

NOTE: I’m current sporting the new Samsung Galaxy  Note 2 from U.S. Cellular and this phone is soooo AWESOME!!! You really need to give it a try……. :)

Google Wallet, The Future is Now

“The Future is Now!” At least that’s how I feel with my super amazing Samsung Galaxy S III from U.S. Cellular and all the many features it has.

One of the great features that I’ve been testing out over the past week or so is the NFC (Near Field Communication) along with the Google Wallet app. This allows you to pay for purchases using your phone and is also very secure. Google Wallet purchases can be made at any store or business that has the PayPass payment technology. Many stores and business already has PayPass available and more will be updating to this in near future.

Over the past week I have made 3 purchases using my Samsung Galaxy S III and Google Wallet. One was at a Convenience Store, One to get fuel at a gas pump and another at a fast food restaurant. It was easy, simple and worked flawlessly. I really like using this feature and so look forward when this form of payment is accepted at all stores and businesses.
