Very, Very, Very Thankful

Last week my wife and 5 year old son were involved in an auto accident while she was driving home after picking up our son from daycare. My wife had some neck and shoulder injuries and our son was ok except for the emotional fear of being in an accident. This was the first time he was ever involved in anything this scary and it may take awhile before he feels at easy while riding in a car again.
The other driver was not injured but was charged with a DUI and for causing the accident. It was 5:30pm in the evening and this lady was very drunk and blew a .25.

I am very, very, very thankful that my wife and son were not more seriously injured or even kill by this drunk driver. “SO PLEASE DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE”!

Now I was 60 miles away working when my wife called me right after the accident occurred and you can imagine how I felt not being there with them and seeing for myself how they were. I immediately stop what I was doing and headed to be with them and to assure me that they would be ok; my wife took a picture of her and our son with her Android phone and sent it to me. Yes the old saying is true that “A picture is better than a thousand words” because it did easy some of the stress I was having by just seeing their faces.
Again I thank God for taking care of my family through this and I also want to thank U.S. Cellular for their great coverage they provide in our area. I am so glad that my wife had her cell phone and was able to call me on mine right after the accident occurred. This was just another reminder to me of how important and wonderful our cell phones can be and to be living in an age where we have this technology.

Music Man

While my business has me on the road and traveling quite a bit, the one thing that makes it much more pleasurable is my music. Using Google Play Music app on my Android phone from U.S. Cellular has all my 700+ songs at my finger tips. Just using an audio cable plugged into phone’s headphone jack and into my car stereo system delivers awesome sound quality. Also if I get a call it will stop the music to answer it and start back after I’m finished.

Another nice thing about Google Play Music is all your music is store on their online servers and it is streamed to your phone. That eliminates using up your phones memory storage. They also offer a lot of free music or you can purchase your favorite songs or albums and it will be added instantly to your music play list. All this is done through your Google Android account. This is just another reason (and there is many, many more) why I love my U.S. Cellular Android phone.

Well it’s about time for me to hit the road with my Android phone in hand and shortly I will become the “Music Man” while I travel.  John ~ U.S. Cellular Customer Crew Member
