Google Wallet, The Future is Now

“The Future is Now!” At least that’s how I feel with my super amazing Samsung Galaxy S III from U.S. Cellular and all the many features it has.

One of the great features that I’ve been testing out over the past week or so is the NFC (Near Field Communication) along with the Google Wallet app. This allows you to pay for purchases using your phone and is also very secure. Google Wallet purchases can be made at any store or business that has the PayPass payment technology. Many stores and business already has PayPass available and more will be updating to this in near future.

Over the past week I have made 3 purchases using my Samsung Galaxy S III and Google Wallet. One was at a Convenience Store, One to get fuel at a gas pump and another at a fast food restaurant. It was easy, simple and worked flawlessly. I really like using this feature and so look forward when this form of payment is accepted at all stores and businesses.

To learn more about how Google Wallet works just follow the link below and see why I feel that this feature that’s available now is going to be used more and more in the near future.

  1. I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but have it set up!

  2. Why doesn't it work with my Electrify M? I have NFC on it. Google Play says it's compatible, however, when I open the app, it says it's not compatible.

  3. There will probable be an update from USCC in the near future that will make it compatible. When the SGSIII first came out it also didn't work till they sent out an update.
